Yesterday, Samsung unveiled its latest flagship, and now you can officially put in a preorder for the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.
On the photography front, the Galaxy Note 8 boasts a dual camera setup with two 12MP sensors - one wide angle lens and one telephoto lens.
In addition, the Samsung Note 8 will face competition from Samsung's own devices like the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus. The Note 8 is packing a 6.3-inch 2960×1440 Super AMOLED display with curved edges and slim bezels all around. It comes with a 18.5:9 aspect ratio as well.
The Galaxy Note 8 comes out in four color variants: Midnight Black, Orchid Grey, Deep Sea Blue and Maple Gold. The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 uses the same Snapdragon 835 chipset or Exynos 8895 for Asian markets.
The phone has got an update in terms of RAM, which is increased to 6 GB from its predecessor's 4GB. Samsung realizes that their phones are on the expensive side, so it's offering two freebie options: a Gear 360 camera, or a 128GB microSD card and a Fast Wireless Charging Convertible pad.
The smartphone also comes with USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer.
12MP+12MP rear facing dual-camera setup with f/1.7 aperture and OIS.
Samsung holds an unpack event for the Note 8 in NY on August 23. Furthermore, the S-Pen has a finer tip and improved pressure reception.
The back of this phone is home to the most significant change to Samsung's product portfolio - a dual camera. The front camera is 8MP.
The model was banned from flights and millions of the devices were recalled after battery problems caused handsets to burst into flames - sometimes while in customers' hands. The company has yet to make an official announcement.
We can't forget the S-Pen now can we. The Note 8 features a 3300mAh battery unit.
Of course the big question is the failing point of the Note 7 - the battery. Finally, there's Bixby on board and with its dedicated button, the personal assistant is at your service 24 x 7.
